PIETRISYCAMOLLAVIADELRECHIOTEMEXITY and Sunny Speak
We all know that this is Sunny's most mystifying saying. It makes it's first appearance after Anagrams are mentioned, which leads us to believe that it is an anagram of something, but the sheer volume of letters makes it REALLY HARD to figure out what, exactly.
We can find the word "Violet" but not Klaus or Sunny or Olaf. Fire can't be found, nor can VFD. Lemony isn't in there, neither is Snicket. "Isadora" is in there, but not Duncan or Quagmire.
In fact, here's a list of some words and phrases you can make from these particular letters: Violet, Isadora, Mr Poe, Esme, Hector, Carmelita, Reptile Room, Hospital, Lachrymose, Academy, Paltryville, Leeches, Elevators, Devotes, The triplet is alive, at the reptile room, is my mother alive.
It was suggested in the poll comments, by the wonderful and ever so helpful Tocuna, that it anagrams out to "VIOLET DIES, I CRY HELP ME, I MAY LIE, CAR, TOT, AX" which is something interesting.
it's also been pointed out to me by several different people (and I apologize for not having your names with me at present) that the word is actually a real word. They've pointed to a website which defines the word as "The state of not having the faintest idea what is going on."
And while I'm willing to admit that that may be the answer, I find it higly suspect, since the definition is the same one given for what Sunny is actually saying in the book.
The rebuttal to that point, though, is that the word has actually entered into the English language as a real word, as cited on several dictionary sites. so I'll give the idea some credence, and pass that off as the proper answer until such time as I have reason to believe that that is not the real answer.
So, that's what I've got on that. If anyone else has any other ideas on what it may anagram out to, please let me know. but as always, try to make it something that applies in some way to the books, and make sure it uses all the letters once and only once.
The rest of the sayings are generally easier to figure out. Here are the results of my assistant Karen's research in the books. She's only been through two, but updates will be forthcoming.
